After each exam cycle, the Navy Advancement Center (NAC) posts a profile form for exam candidates. The primary purpose of the Examination Profile Information Form is to provide advancement/selection board eligibility feedback to E-4 through E-7 candidates. A PROFILE FORM MYTH

There are many myths about examinations. Unfortunately, they are shared by misinformed Sailors and often lead to unfocused exam study. One of the most common myths is the one discussed below. Like all the others, this one is untrue:

“The profile form tells candidates what they should study for the next exam;
therefore, profile forms should be used as the basis for exam study programs.”

The profile form is intended to provide feedback to a candidate on how he or she performed on the exam compared with others of the same rating (e.g., a BM3 compared to all other BM3 test takers who took the same exam). That’s it! The next exam will NOT have all the same questions. There are no shortcuts!

Senator Roy Ashburn has been a fierce critics by Californian government moves toward more liberal laws for homosexuals in his state, voting against every measure on the issue in the Californian legislature.

An anti-gay GOP Californian state Senator, Roy Ashburn, has been arrested for DUI after allegedly leaving a gay bar in Sacramento, California.The Republican State Senator was pulled up by traffic police in the early hours of the morning Wednesday in down town Sacramento reportedly “weaving” his way around on the roads.

Many are wondering why Ashburn was seen, drunk, leaving a gay bar given his views on progress for homosexuals in his state. Highway patrol officers said they suspected Roy Ashburn had been drinking and was taken to the local lockup where he was charged with driving with a blood alcohol level above .08 and several other charges.

The earthquake was measured at a magnitude of 8.8 and centered just off the coast near Concepcion, the second largest city in Chile. Major damage was reported 200 miles away in the capital city of Santiago. It hit at 3:34 a.m. local time Saturday, February 27 (1:34 a.m. Eastern Time), while many people were asleep in their homes.

Chile has a history of devastating earthquakes, including the most powerful one ever measured, a 1960 quake that measured 9.5 and killed several thousand people. By comparison, the earthquake that killed over 230,000 people in Haiti Jan. 12 measured 7.0. Each increase of one point represents 32 times more intensity.
